Abbey Lane 4-1 Sheffield Rangers (Friendly)
A great result against a good Sheffield Rangers side. We started the game strong with attack after attack, with the rangers keeper in good form they were hard to break down. But as the football started to flow the quality was starting to show. Going in 0-0 at half time it was just a case of be patient, the goals will come. The lads went out in the second half in the same mood, then with a great move and a good cross from Hulton, a quality finish from Holloway the lads were up and running. The boys kept going producing some great football until the end. Brilliant boys.:) :) :)
The second team went out with something to follow, but within a minute we conceded our first goal in 5 games. That got the boys backs up and they started to rally together. Grimmer was outstanding, and Spiers won a penalty which he stuck away nicely. The lads were now in top gear, passing brilliantly which led to another great goal from Mohammed. We kept the game at our pace with Wheatley scoring, finishing the game with a comfortable 3-1 victory. A massive well done to all the boys.:) :) :)
MOM keep guessing, see you at training.
