Abbey lane vs Maltby Juniors.

Abbey Lane had another FANTASTIC win today against Maltby. In the opening few minutes we thought it was going to be tough but the boys got stuck in and deserved to win 6 -1.

In Game 1 Abbey Lane won 4-0, with Daniel Beck opening the scoring followed by one from William Templeman. John Hammond hit a 20 yard screamer into the top corner and after many attempts the ball also found the back of the net for Jordan Sambrook.
Man of the Match went to William Templeman.

In the second game the final score was 2-1 to Abbey Lane. The scorers were Tom Cropper and William Price. Man of the Match was a tough one here but it went to Conor Mcdermott for a faultless game with solid defending.

Everyone played really well. Stick at it and hopefully we can keep winning! See you all on Thursday.
P.S. Well Done to the Boss for managing to down all that nasty stuff on Friday night - it's a good job it wasn't Saturday night!!
