Wink Another win for the under 9s

this was always going to be a difficult game in the mud and the 2 teams compeating for that 2nd place and the stronger team with the leathel finishing of our boys helped us win this 1

Game 1, Abbey lane 2 - 0 Hallam rangers
Sam Cutts , Thomas cropper
MoM Conor Mcdermott
This game was a solid performance by all and all never gave up and kept fighting till the end, the 1st game from sam we were all shouting him to shoot and he did, a little slip from there keeper but as good finish never the less. The 2nd came from Tom a good finish at the far post, All the players gave it there all and with 1 or 2 good saves from Matt keeping us in the game and some amazing defending from Conor and Jamie did the trick for this 2 - 0 victory

Game 2, Abbey lane 3 - 3 Hallam rangers
Jordan Sambrook 3
MoM Reuben Bagge
This game went all 1 way in the 1st half with 3 goals from Jordan and some good passing from all the team made it looked very comfitable, but in the 2nd half was a different story they came out and gave it a real go, we thought we already won but then a penalty givin for a harsh handball(only kidding) on dan bingham and after that we didn't defend realy well and our midfielders didnt come back enough and we conceded another 2 goals to end this 1 3-3 The mom went to a forever shouting Reuben a good captincy performance,

In the end it went our way and a 5 - 3 score line that was fully deserved well done lads and enjoy your weekend off with a few strikes and ill c ya all thursday to do some fitness training as we need it,
